After months of planning, on-and-off work and plenty of scope creep (it’s terrible when you are your own customer), my personal blog is now live on my own server running on Drupal and I will retire the old tumblog as soon as I am happy that I haven’t missed anything.

It has taken hours and hours but it is finally launched. The official unveiling will be Saturday to coincide with the dinghy show at Alexandra Palace (North London, UK). I have learned all sorts on the way and I will write a long and reasonably detailed post about that journey at another time. This is just phase one as there are some major things missing (pictures!) and some cool things to come like the crewfinder that never worked on the old site. There are also a few pages missing content right now but I am hoping the class secretary (my sister) can help out there.
