About Adam

Fairly obviously I hope, I am Adam Horner. I currently live in London, England, although I have lived in various places around Europe.

Professionally, I am a Forward Deployed Engineer working for Palantir. I was previously an Oracle database specialist, working especially on secure databases. In my free time I like practicing kung fu.

Most of what I will write about here will have absolutely nothing to do with my work, because of the nature of that work.

I am an Apple Mac enthusiast and have several of their products which I use daily. I am also a fan of movies, although I am not generally interested in the celebrity facet. Having worked in the investment banking arena in the past, I also find the financial markets hold a certain fascination for me.
