Configuration

I find myself travelling at 3 in the afternoon. It seems that the aforementioned shiny new laptop has a few omissions in it’s configuration that cannot be rectified by instructions over the phone.

Well at least I have found out a little more about the work I will be doing and thankfully it will involve complex, highly secure, well designed oracle databases holding monumental amounts of data. All stuff I am right at home with, so I’m happy.

I’ve also met my team leader, a nice chap with plenty of experience so I feel I am in good hands and in a position to make a big difference. Of course the real work will start next Tuesday after the bank holiday.
