Kermode on Horror

This comes courtesy of Dr Mark Kermode, who in one of his latest video blog entries not only shares his adoration of Mary Poppins, but also evidently sees horror in just about everything. Now I know he has done a PhD on the subject of horror cinema, but isn’t this taking his obsession just a little too far? Almost in the same breath he opines that the number one reason that you should love the Mary Poppins film is that ‘it is genuinely a film for all the family’.

I looked confused when I saw the two clips too.
